On My Blog Layout

Is my layout easy to read on, or should I change it?

It's okay. Make it plain colors and no fancy backgrounds, and I'd say it'd be better.

The crosses in the background make it a little difficult to read sometimes. You could easily fix that my adjusting all of the "filter:alpha(opacity=90); -moz-opacity:0.90; opacity:0.90; -khtml-opacity:0.90;" to a higher number. That was an example. Mine is set to 90. If you do make them darker by increasing the number, you have to do it with all of them (in case you didn't know).

Whoa! Did you mean this new layout? Wow. Very different. I was directed to your old one when I made that comment.

Hey, blogger has been giving me heck, so it's changed about a billion times. How do you like this one?

I like this one.

This is better, the font is clearer. I'm with Steven on the no fancy backgrounds (seems kinda girlyman to me).

Easier to read. But you could make the main column a little wider, and font perhaps slightly (?10%) larger.

The picture is fine, but I can't work out the random stuff on the right.

I like the white background. It makes it easier to read the posts.

I much prefer a white background. It is easier for me to read.

Strictly readability, this.

However, from an artistic perspective, you may want to keep tinkering. The blue/gray elements to the right of the painting don't seem integrated or all that thematic.

Cheers!

Thanks for your input, all. Let me know if there are further things I can do to make my blog easier to look at.

The bright white isn't easy on the eyes of us older guys...But I love the content, the aesthetics are secondary. IMHO.
