C. Michael Patton on Textual Criticism of the Bible

C. Michael Patton of Reclaiming the Mind Ministries (click here) has posted a quick and concise guide to textual criticism on his blog (click here). I recommend reading it for a summary understanding of how the Bible has been preserved and translated.

Famous quote from C. Michael Patton:

"We have an identity crisis. It is that simple. We don’t know who we are."

Truer words were never spoken!

C. Michael Patton:

"Ask ten people for a definition of Evangelicalism and you will find ten different answers."

In other words, there are as many interpretations of scripture (the infallible word) as there are people.

I have to wonder if CMP is speaking from empirical evidence.

How on earth does that have anything to do with anything? Since they have manuscript evidence, they do have empirical evidence. Why are you posting this on my blog?
